Ready when you are
Start a drill
The app names a ragam, plays its arohanam and avarohanam at your sruti, then counts down while you play it. Then the next one.
Mohanam
Pick a pattern, set the tempo, press Play. The highlight follows the beat — play along, or untick the melody and use it as a metronome with notation.
Play the arohanam and avarohanam, then a few phrases. Every swara you settle on during the window is kept (nothing is dropped as you go on), and the up/down runs you play are matched against each ragam’s arohanam and avarohanam. Also works as a tuner.
Hear a song and guess the ragam
Experimental. Works from the pitch distribution of the whole mix — finds the tonic from the tanpura, then scores every ragam. Clean vocal or instrumental recordings work best; heavy percussion and harmonies confuse it. Treat the result as candidates.
Kriti
Type or paste a kriti’s notation on the left, press “Show in player”, then Play — the app beeps the swaras at your sruti and tempo while you play along. Tap a line to loop from it, tap another to end the loop.
